I work and live in the Chicago area creating art and design. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Visual Communications. I also received an AA from Rock Valley College with an emphasis on fine arts. I am inspired by most everything around me, such as architecture, shadows, textures, music, dance, and cracks in the sidewalk. I fall in love with ugly, beautiful things. I have an overactive imagination. This has proven to be a good thing.

I had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy and Spain in the summer of 2009. The experience has influenced my design process and many areas of my life besides design. It has left me with a thirst to keep exploring different cultures and countries.

Learning new skills and being influenced by people I admire keeps me busy lately. I currently work at smbolic in Chicago as a designer. It is an awesome job and I love it there. In my spare time I enjoy painting, drawing, video games, and reading comics.
